Had to visit Northern France today so went to the beach at Wimeraux between Calais and Boulogne. Unfortunately there were no windsurfers out today otherwise I might have got another W in there!

Looks like a lovely day and the photo shows off the light of that French coast.
We are going to France, first week of September, am really looking forward to it!
Is that one of the spots where Hitler stood and looked hungrily at the UK?
mrsnesbitt - are you heading Montpellier way? I sw you follow blog from there. If so, that area is my fvourite in France. Bezier, Narbonne, Sete and Cap D'agde. Wonderful. Enjoy the food!
Rinkly Rimes - Quite probably. There are a few massive bunkers still in place a mile up the road and Cap Gris Nez a bit further on would have given a pretty good view on a clear day.
